ABOUT
Fujisan goen kai

Junichi Horiuchi

I was born in Fujiyoshida City. I stayed in Fujiyoshida City until high school, when I left my hometown for higher education. After graduating from university, I worked for an apparel company, where I had the opportunity to learn the structure of the industry, which consists of many fields, such as manufacturing process management, sales strategy, planning, and so on. I also experienced overseas sales in Italy and the U.S., where I came into contact with the management of famous companies and global buyers, and realized that Japan is the center of the business world.

I think there are thousands of ways to enjoy the Churei Pagoda. However, this Churei pagoda is a cenotaph built to mourn the victims of the Sino-Japanese War, the Russo-Japanese War, WWI and WWⅡ. While being in awe of that, I would like tourists to enjoy the world-class shooting spot, such as the collaboration of Mt. Fuji, the five-story pagoda, and the streetscape of Fujiyoshida City. As shown in the picture, I would like to protect the lovely and friendly Churei pagoda in a wonderful environment until us grandchildren generation.
